When used in house cleansing the smoke attaches itself to the negative or stagnant energy. Best used with a feather to gently move the smoke upwards in a counter clockwise direction and out through open windows or doors. Once the smoke is released from the area, it takes the negative energy moving it to a space where it will be regenerated into positive energy.
